Well, Columbia, we have another SWAT raid video to contend with now. This SWAT video was brought to my attention by Eapen Thampy of Americans for Forfeiture Reform. Due to my naturally curious nature, I began digging. . .
Well, what I found was interesting. First, I found out that the address that this SWAT raid occurred at was 1002 Madison St. in Columbia, MO. From that I found a last name, then from that I found a full name, then finally I came across this article:
From the article:
“Columbia police arrested four people yesterday after acting on a narcotics-related search warrant at a central Columbia residence.
At about 6:30 p.m., police searched 1002 Madison St. for evidence of cocaine and encountered four adults and several children inside the residence. Officers seized an undisclosed quantity of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and several thousand dollars in cash.
Officers arrested Robert Jennings, 45, of Columbia on suspicion of first-degree drug-trafficking and Dexter Nealy, 45, of Columbia on suspicion of possessing cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Both men remained today at the Boone County Jail with bond set at $40,000 for Jennings and $5,000 for Nealy.
Wanda Scott, 68, and Ricky Tooley, 46, both of Columbia were also arrested at the home on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and released from the jail after each posted a $500 bond.”
We will be looking more into this case with our friends at Americans for Forfeiture Reform and Keep Columbia Free!
